Assessment

Elementary school and middle school is a key time for children to develop their academic skills, as well as their sense of self. Children who are struggling with one aspect of their life often have low self-esteem . Intervention is available to support your child with their challenges. Neuropsychological assessment can identify your child's strengths and challenges and provide recommendations to help your child succeed and feel good about him or herself.

  • Identify ADHD, autism, learning disability (reading, writing, math), executive function challenges, anxiety, or depression
  • Need for accommodations at school  (e.g., extra time, separate space, world language waiver)
  • Recommendations for intervention (e.g., counseling, instruction, tutoring, etc.)

Consultation

Parents

  • How to support your struggling child at home
  • How to navigate getting supports for your child at school, such as the IEP process and 504 Accommodation Plans
  • Consult with the school about how they can support the student
